Climate
Hot all year round with a defined dry season. Especially hot in the north, with greater humidity in the south. The rainy season is mainly from May to October, while the driest months are January and February. Heavy rainfall is typical in the southwestern forest areas.
Transportation
Bangui M’Poko International Airport (BGF) is the major airport of Central African Republic. The main airlines serving the country are Kenya Airways, Royal Air Maroc and TAAG Angola Airlines.
Currency
The Central African Republic, together with Cameroon, Chad, Congo-Brazzaville, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon, belongs to an economic and monetary community sharing a common currency. Credit cards are not generally accepted. Euros are the easiest currency to exchange.
