Climate
The south is hot and dry from November to February. The main rainy season is from June to October. Temperatures in the north vary. On the Adamaoua Plateau, temperatures drop sharply at night; the rainy season is from May to October. In the Grassland areas, inland regions are much cooler than the coast with regular rainfall. The best months to visit are from January to April.
Transportation
Two major airports of Cameron are Douala International Airport (DLA) and Yaounde Nsimalen International Airport (NSI). Airlines that fly to Cameroon include Air France, Brussels Airlines, Royal Air Maroc.
Currency
Cameroon, together with Central African Republic, Chad, Congo-Brazzaville, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon, belongs to an economic and monetary community sharing a common currency. Major credit cards are accepted on a very limited basis. Euros are the easiest currency to exchange.
