Climate
Namibia's climate is generally very dry and pleasant. All the rain falls in summer (November to April). January and February are hot, when daytime temperatures in the interior can exceed 40ºC, but nights are usually cool. Winter nights can be fairly cold, but days are generally warm and quite nice.
Transportations
Most visitors enter Namibia at Hosea Kutako International Airport, which is located 45km east of Windhoek. International flights arrive multiple times throughout the week from Johannesburg and Frankfurt via a number of carriers including Air Namibia. Other airlines with scheduled flights to Namibia include British Airways, South African Airways, LTU and TAAG, the Angolan national airline.

The Namibia Dollar (NAD)
South African credit cards are accepted.
