Summer in Botswana goes from November to March with high temperatures and rain; winter is from May to August with dry weather, constant sunshine, and cool to warm temperatures. The in-between periods from April to early May or September or October still tends to be dry but the days are cooler than in summer and the nights are warmer than in winter.



Air Botswana has 4 daily flights between Gaborone and Johannesburg plus some more additional flights on specific days of the week.
South African Airways has 2 daily flights between Johannesburg and Gaborone during the week.
